Hilliard Leadership Team

Linda Trimble
Hilliard Director

Hello, my name is Linda Trimble, and I am excited to be the Director at SDA Hilliard! I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Columbus State Community College, and am in the process of obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  I have two handsome boys, Cristian; born in 2001, and Joey; born in 2004. I also have two dogs; Zilla and Violet Mae! I love to take pictures and scrapbook our family memories in my spare time. I am very involved in my church, where I am a member of our Praise Team and serve on several other committees. I am also a Marching Band Mom during Football season! I have six siblings myself, so I love the feeling of a big family that is active and having a lot of fun. I’ve worked in a child care center since 2007 and joined SDA in 2012. I served as an Infant Teacher and Assistant Director prior to becoming the Hilliard Director. I look forward to getting to know each one of you and being a part of your family’s education and care!

Shawna Grove
Hilliard Assistant Director

My name is Shawna Grove and I am pleased to be the Assistant Director at our Hilliard location! I started my career here at Sunny Day Academy in 2012. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and I have been married to my husband, Stephen, for 10 years. Together we have 3 amazing children. Alex is 21 years old and in his senior year at the University of Northwester Ohio. Aaron is 19 years old and in his freshman year at Ohio State. Olivia is 6 years old, in Kindergarten in Hilliard, and attends Sunny Day Academy in the afternoon. We have a dog named, Roscoe and a cat named Maddie. I enjoy going to church, being outdoors, sports and traveling with my family. I pride myself on being a team player and am always willing to take on more challenges. My goal at Sunny Day Academy is to grow relationships with families and give a quality experience while they are here. If we teach a child well and care for that child, when that child is older he or she will have that ingrained in who they are. And I know that is happening here at SDA every day!
